Big 10 Marts Seeks Store Managers!

Store Managers drive business success for Big 10 Marts. In addition to base compensation, there is a bonus opportunity for our store managers.

Our most successful store managers are looked at as potential Operations Managers, managing multiple units within our company.This is a full-time position with full benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, disability, vacation, sick leave, and holidays.

So how do you land this opportunity? You will have at least two years’ experience in a retail environment, and if you have some leadership experience it would be a plus. Retail store experience is required and while convenience store experience is not necessary, it would place you above other candidates if you possess that. You'll also have previous management experience as well. In your skill set you will possess solid team building skills, an eye for analyzing your store’s budget, and a drive and desire to make your store the best in the area.

Here are the details on this opportunity:

Position summary:Direct all day to day aspects of store operations, including sales growth, margins, cash controls, expenses, training, turnover, and profitability of each store location. This position holds store level management accountable to meet company budgets and exceed key performance indicators: 5 Fundamentals score, store sales, gross margins, and managing/administrating controllable expenses.

Experience and Education:Education: High School diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree (or other 2-year degree) or higher preferred.Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Retail/C-Store Industry; to include at least six months in a store management/leadership role.

Physical Requirements:

Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally

Stand for long periods of time

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Crouch, crawl, squat, climb as required

Compensation: $35000 per year
